Goal: 100% biodegradable and compostable packaging

With the idea of being the most sustainable and ecological we can and in order to respond to the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions, we have opted for a range of innovative products based on bagasse (sugarcane residue, natural material which is both abundant and renewable), Kraft, CPLA and other materials in order to get closer to our goal: We want 100% of the packaging we use to be biodegradable and compostable.

Evolution of our packaging

 

We believe  it makes sense to invest in more expensive packages but more friendly with nature. Little by little we have been changing the old containers and cutlery, all of them of plastic, and the old FELIX’s bag, also plastic, for new ones that respectthe environment. You’ll find below the current packaging we use.

We use Kraft paper bags. They offer the resistance we need and the sustainability we want. Biodegradable and compostable.

The packaging we use for salads is made from sugarcane (recycled PET cover). Biodegradable and compostable.

Our cutlery, apart from comfortable, is made with CPLA: Crystallised poly lactic acid. It is a 100% biodegradable and compostable material.

We use Kraft paper basins. They allow us to make sure that the product does not come out during transport. Biodegradable and compostable.

Ecological paper napkins are made with 100% recycled cellulose for maximum respect for the environment. Biodegradable and compostable.

We use sugar cane containers (recycled PET cover) for our popular cut fruit. Biodegradable and compostable.

The sugar cane container we use for omelettes, sushi, etc..  is made from sugarcane (recycled PET cover). Biodegradable and compostable.
